The Police Command in Taraba on Wednesday affirmed the passing of nine people in early morning assaults on Tutuwa community in Ussa Neighborhood Government Zone of Taraba.

The Police Open Relations Officer within the state, ASP David Misal, told newsmen that a yet-to-be distinguished outfitted volunteer army must have carried out the dangerous attack.

Police Misal said that Alhaji Aliyu Tafida, the Appointee Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the command, and heads of other security offices within the state had as of now moved in to survey the situation.

Mr Rimansikwe Karma, the Chairman of Ussa Nearby Government Committee, whereas too affirming the assault to newsmen, included that three individuals were injured. Karma said that the assailants adjusted up the town at around 5 a.m. and propelled the assault when individuals of the community were going for early morning prayers.

“Every Wednesday morning, the community conducts mid-week benefit and most of them were on their way, when the outfitted volunteer army assaulted them.

“Nine people were murdered and three others supported life debilitating wounds and are as of now getting treatment at Takum Common Hospital.
